General Terms and Conditions

The DRC common platform presents main objectives of the Danube Rectors’ Conference, the information about its structure and information about projects, study programmes and activities of the DRC member universities.

 

 
The DRC platform offers to users the possibility to learn more about DRC and possibilities of collaboration among its members. It serves the basic information about the Danube Rectors' Conference with news, events, photos, newsletter etc. It also serves as an interactive database of projects, study programmes and other activities of the member Universities of DRC.

Neither University of Maribor nor any other party involved in creating, producing or delivering the website shall be liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect or punitive damages arising out of users' access to, or use of, the website. The DRC platform does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by external sources and accepts no responsibility or liability for any consequences arising from the use of such data.

Though University of Maribor uses the best technical standards to control DRC platform, material may inadvertently include technical inaccuracies or other errors. The DRC platform may contain links and references to third-party websites. These are provided for the convenience and interest of users and on the part of DRC this implies neither responsibility for, nor approval of, information contained in these web sites.


Personal data privacy

By accessing the DRC platform, certain information about users, such as internet protocol (IP) addresses, navigation through the site, software used and time spent, as well as other similar information, will be stored on University of Maribor servers. These will not specifically identify users and the information will be used internally for web site traffic analysis only. If users provide unique identifying information, such as name, address and other information on forms stored on this site, this information will be used for statistical purposes only and will not be published or made available for general access.

University of Maribor does not sell or rent its website users' names, addresses, e-mail addresses or other personal information.

Use of IP address


The IP address is a number that is automatically given to your computer when you are surfing on the internet. Servers and ‘big computers’ that host web pages, automatically identify your computer through its IP number. DRC uses IP addresses in order to carry out statistics, however, as IP addresses and personal identification are not linked to each other users remains anonymous.

 

Use of cookies

 

 

Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to the individual computer for the purpose of helping this site to know if you are logged in or not and to remember your specific data like the last search text. These cookies are harmless and will be deleted as soon you close your browser.

You can also disable cookies, which means you will not be able to upload your data on this website including the forum. In this case search text will also not be remembered for your next searches.

DRC does not use personal identification details transferred through cookies neither for promotion or marketing purposes, nor will such information be shared with a third party.

 

  
Forums and discussions

In Generate's Discussion Forums you must follow these simple rules to keep the discussions safe and friendly for all users. By registering on the forums and logging in you are attesting that you understand and will comply with the following rules of forum use.

Please avoid:

1. Insulting, threatening, annoying or provoking another person.
2. Being hateful towards a specific group of people. These discussions are open to people from all backgrounds.
3. Swearing, using hate-speech, or making obscene or vulgar comments.
4. Breaking the law. This includes breach of copyright, defamation, condoning or promoting illegal activity and contempt of court (by making posts that could affect the outcome of an impending court action).
5. Spamming (posting the same comment multiple times).
6. Advertising commercial interests.
7. Impersonating or falsely claiming to represent a person or organisation.
8. Posting in a language other than English. We don't have the resources to support multi-lingual discussion.
9. Invading someone's privacy. Please don't post anyone's personal details without their permission. Please only post professional details wherever possible.
10. Posts that are not relevant or related to youth engagement in decision-making or community participation.

11. Put anonymous comments

DRC does not and cannot review every message posted by users on forums and is not responsible for the content of any messages posted. DRC reserves the right to delete, move or edit, at its sole discretion, messages that it deems abusive, defamatory, obscene, in violation of copyright laws or unacceptable. Users shall remain solely responsible for the content of their messages.

Users acknowledge that any submissions may be edited, removed, modified, published, transmitted and displayed by DRC. Users should be aware that all forums and discussion groups are public and not private communications. Further, users acknowledge that chats, postings, conferences and any other form of communication by other users are not endorsed by DRC, and that such communications shall not be considered as having been reviewed, screened or
approved by DRC.
  
Linking to the DRC platform

In order to promote its work and because Internet is about linking, the DRC encourages users who maintain an external website to include hyperlinks to the main DRC platform with prior permission of DRC platform administrator.

DRC grants permission to users to visit the site, and to download and copy information, images, documents and materials from the web site for users' personal non-commercial use.
